Welcoming you with all the comforts of home, the laid back atmosphere of our lounge will allow you to kick back and unwind in between sessions, with the ability to see and hear what's going on in the sound room by a live feed. Enlarged View.

The Digital Edge KC is a unique culmination of talent and state-of-the-art facilities. We are conveniently located just 5 minutes from Downtown Kansas City near I-29 in Riverside, MO. The Studio is housed in an environment that was built from the ground up for the sole purpose of being as close to a perfect recording sound room as possible. With Double thick walls,Room inside a room design "Whisper Quiet" environmental controls, acoustically designed workspaces and custom wiring, plugs and outlets. Tremendous attention was given to every aspect of the design and construction by the owners, Doug Kenworthy and Sib.

The heart of the studio is the control room. This is where the "magic" happens.

Our control room is equipped with a 192 track Pro Tools HD Accel system running Pro Tools 7.4, coupled with a Digidesign Control 24 fully automated mixing console. This provides hands on control over every aspect of your mix.

For your sound to video needs we also have Final Cut Pro, SoundTrak Pro, Shake and Motion.

We are running 6 channels of Focusrite ISA (Rupert Neve designed)series pre amps with eq and compression for extremely clean and accurate recordings.

For those who prefer the Tube sound we also have the industry standard Avalon VT 737 pre amp. 24 channels of Focusrite Platinum series are also available.

We offer Top notch Direct boxes like the Avalon U5 and Ampeg’s direct tube injection box, LR Baggs and more.
