The Digital Edge is a full service recording studio in Kansas City. Our main focus is on local and regional talent. We also offer sound for film, Corporate and Broadcast services. We employ professional engineers that have been in the business for over 15 years. Our mission is to provide the midwest region with professional grade recordings at some of the most flexible and affordable rates in the area. Doug has been in the music industry for over 20 years. As a recording specialist for local music stores in the Kansas City area, Doug has helped design and build several project and professional studios. On New Years Day in 2006, Doug was featured in the Kansas City Star newspaper as a person to watch out for.
He decided it was time to take the next step in his dream and open his own recording studio. In April of 2006, Doug opened the doors to The Digital Edge recording studios.
Doug has worked on CD projects for Abileen,The Boon, Load Point Pull, Baloney Ponyz, Thrust, Pomeroy, Danny Cox, Icons of KC ,The Hartley Family, Avila Choir, and many more. He also has worked on the films Das Bus, Bazaar Bizzare, and American Stag. Three of the CD projects Doug produced this year were featured in The Kansas City Star as top 10 local albums to have. The Digital Edge is quickly becoming a hot spot for recording in Kansas City.

Sib (who has a single name just like Prince) has been a force in the Kansas City Audio Industry for over 20 years.

He has toured extensively as a drummer and has worked with several multi-platinum recording artists.

Although he specializes in live recording and event sound reinforcement, Sib is also an experienced studio designer / architect and is responsible for the Digital Edge's isolation rooms and studio layout.

Sib is a studio partner, co-owner, and associate producer . He is also a pretty good session drummer, FYI.

Will Puckett, is a professional in many musical fields and venues: from the Concert stage to the Rock Music Stage, the Theater stage to the Jazz lounge. A working musician for over 30 years, Will is also a Studio Engineer and a Sound Designer in the Electronic Music Industry supporting companies past and present such as BitHeadz, E-mu, Keyfax and Yamaha. Will also worked for Digidesign for three years where he was part of the team that developed ProTools 7.x

A composer as well as a keyboardist, Will Puckett has many original pieces and arrangements ranging from whimsical to serious, as well as electronica.He has produced several CD albums for artists in the CA Bay Area and also has many commercial music credits. Will has a fine ear, musical sensibility, a cool head, and supreme skills with ProTools HD.
